Security and data
Lingo holds the documentation a manufacturer provides and the conversations its installers have. Each customer’s data is kept separate from every other customer’s.
Answers from your guides only
Answers are drawn only from guides your technical team has approved. Nothing is taken from outside your documentation.
Never used for training
Your documentation and conversations are never used to train an AI model, by Lingo or by the model providers we use.
Hosted in Ireland, encrypted
Customer data is hosted with Amazon Web Services in Ireland, and encrypted in transit and at rest.
Who can access it
Access at Lingo is limited to named staff, needs multi-factor authentication and is logged. In your account, roles decide who can view, edit and publish.
Deleted when you leave
When a contract ends, your data is deleted within 30 days. You can ask for a conversation to be deleted at any time.
Data protection
Lingo processes personal data under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, with a data processing agreement in every contract.
